“I am interested in ideas, not merely in visual products.”
Marcel Duchamp
The words of Marcel Duchamp summarise the essence of my artistic pursuits: conceptualising from the abstract to create visible expressions. One idea can have multiple manifestations, each a unique visual product. Thus, I believe that thinking, not merely doing, is the heart of all creativity.
Every piece I create challenges me to explore and experiment with diverse approaches. How does one communicate hope through squares or grief with styrofoam? Each painting is an exploration of these questions, striving to speak a visual language that is both universal and distinct.
